Injured John Wayne struggled to breathe with oxygen mask on Rooster Cogburn set

John Wayne was suffering from serious health problems while shooting Rooster Cogburn with Katharine Hepburn. Duke had struggled with pneumonia, relied on an oxygen mask and would have furious outbursts on set.
